Join a team shaping the future of Australia’s hospital funding system. As a Technical Manager, you will apply strong analytical capability, sound judgment and well-developed stakeholder skills to support the delivery of IHACPA’s national activity-based funding (ABF) cost and pricing models. You will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of complex modelling frameworks, working collaboratively with internal specialists, policy areas, advisory bodies and sector stakeholders.
In this role, you will analyse substantial hospital activity and cost data, generating insights that inform national funding decisions. You will also communicate technical concepts clearly, prepare high quality documentation and committee papers, and support the Executive by translating modelling outcomes into practical, actionable information.
The role provides opportunities for leadership, whether formally through managing the work of more junior members or less directly in your engagements with other parts of the organisation and our stakeholders.
