Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced stone mason in stone benchtop fabrication to join our team. Bespoke Stone Projects are based in Seven Hills NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible to fabricate materials such as porcelain, granite, marble, and sintered stone to accurate specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, polish, and finish stone benchtops and related surfaces.
Operate fabrication equipment, hand tools, and machinery safely and accurately.
Read and interpret plans, drawings, templates, and job specifications.
Prepare materials including natural stone, engineered stone, porcelain, granite, marble, and quartz as required.
Check completed work for quality, accuracy, finish, and compliance with job requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop and worksite.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including dust control and correct PPE use.
Communicate with supervisors, installers, clients, and team members to support efficient job completion.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience in stone masonry benchtop fabrication.
Ability to use fabrication tools and machinery with precision and care.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
Good understanding of measurements, levels, templates, and technical drawings.
Physical fitness and ability to safely lift, carry, and handle stone materials.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a practical problem-solving approach.
