Position Summary
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to support business objectives and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify trends, generate insights, and develop reports that drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with departments to understand business requirements and provide analytical solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and present findings to management.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
- Assist in developing data models and forecasting tools.
- Support business intelligence and decision-making initiatives.
- Maintain documentation of analytical processes and reporting methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and analytical techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and business intelligence environments.
