About the Role:
We are seeking a casual Guest Service Agent to join the team at the Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs. This is a hands-on operational role responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the guest journey, from arrival through to departure. You will play a key role in supporting front office operations while providing professional and efficient customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Process reservations, payments, and daily front office transactions
- Maintain accurate guest records and administrative documentation
- Coordinate effectively with housekeeping and other hotel departments
- Ensure presentation and service standards are maintained at all times
- Support daily front office operations and hotel procedures
About You:
- Previous experience in hotel front office/guest services
- Hands-on and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presentation and customer-focused mindset
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience using hotel PMS systems is preferred
- Flexible availability across a 7-day roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Australian working rights (sponsorship not available for this role)
