The Procurement Lead is responsible for leading and delivering a major end-to-end tender on behalf of the City.
The role provides specialist procurement, commercial and market expertise to support the delivery of a complex and high-value tender, ensuring robust governance, probity, compliance and value-for-money outcomes.
Working closely with Procurement, Legal, and operational stakeholders, the role will lead the development of the sourcing strategy, procurement documentation, evaluation methodologies and commercial models aligned with best practice public sector procurement.
The role is responsible for leading and administering the procurement project, ensuring tendering and contract activities are undertaken in accordance with Local Government legislative requirements, State Government guidelines and Council policies and procedures.
This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
