We are seeking a motivated Junior Architect to join our growing team and support our expanding project pipeline.
About the Role
This role supports our registered architects in preparing designs, documentation, and drawings for renovation and new-build projects. You will gain hands-on experience across all project stages while meeting full requirements for 482 visa sponsorship under occupation Architect (ANZSCO 232111).
✅ Mandatory Requirements (Must Meet 482 Visa Eligibility)
- Bachelor of Architecture (AQF Level 7 or recognised overseas equivalent) — full degree certificate + transcripts required
- Positive Skills Assessment from AACA (Architects Accreditation Council of Australia) — mandatory before nomination
- English Language: IELTS Academic 5.0 in all bands OR PTE Academic 36 in all components (or equivalent)
- Minimum 12 months full-time relevant architectural experience within the last 5 years
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and design software
- Knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and planning regulations
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing architectural plans, drawings, and specifications for renovation and new construction projects
- Develop design concepts, 3D models, and presentation materials
- Produce construction documentation and coordinate drawings with consultants
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, BCA, and local planning requirements
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and certifying authorities
- Conduct site inspections and assist with contract administration
- Research materials, products, and construction methods suitable for renovation works
