Be inspired everyday – let your work make a difference #Superwithimpact
More than one million Australians trust us with their money, and that trust shapes how we work every day. Our members sit at the centre of everything we do, guiding our decisions and the impact we strive to make.
We’re looking for people who are purpose-driven and accountable, who value inclusion and collaboration, and who are proactive in managing risk to protect our members’ long-term outcomes. In return, you’ll be part of an organisation where your work contributes to strong returns, real-world impact, and a culture that reflects the communities our members serve.
The opportunity – ‘Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life’ #careerswithimpact
Shape meaningful change at a purpose-led super fund. Complex projects, real impact, and a team that values your expertise.
12 month Maximum Term Contract
At HESTA we are continuing to build the foundations to enhance member, employer and employee experiences to help our members face the future with confidence. As part of HESTA's Enterprise Project Delivery team, you will work across complex programs that are modernising how the fund serves its members, employers, and employees. You will sharpen your skills across requirements analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and system implementation in a highly collaborative environment, supported by a dedicated BA practice with experienced peers around you. The breadth of work across risk, product and insurance will stretch your capabilities in all the right ways.
About the role:
As the business analyst within the project, you will take ownership of requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will translate complex needs into clear, actionable requirements that keep projects moving forward with confidence.
- Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder sessions, decomposing and documenting business needs into user stories, process flows, and solution options.
- Navigate project interdependencies and governance requirements, contributing to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement.
About you:
You are a confident, curious BA who knows how to bring stakeholders along on a journey and turn ambiguity into clarity. You are equally comfortable in a workshop room as you are in the detail of a requirements document, and you take real pride in the quality of your work.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, and stakeholder facilitation.
- Experience in financial services, ideally superannuation; prior experience in risk, product, or insurance related projects is highly preferred.
- Proficient with Agile delivery, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Experience developing business cases or options papers is desirable, along with a formal BA or project management certification.
- A collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and the tenacity to see complex programs through from start to finish.
