Gateshead Tavern is on the hunt for reliable, customer-focused team members to join us on a casual basis.
**Bar Attendant — Key Responsibilities**
- Provide friendly, attentive service across the front bar
- Pour beer, wine, and basic mixed drinks to a high standard
- Operate the POS system and handle cash/EFTPOS accurately
- Maintain cleanliness, stock, and presentation of the bar
- Change kegs, restock fridges, and complete general bar duties
- Comply with all Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements
**Gaming Attendant — Key Responsibilities**
- Provide attentive service to customers in the gaming lounge
- Monitor gaming machines and assist with payouts, refills, and queries
- Operate gaming and POS systems accurately
- Handle cash payouts with care and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the gaming area
- Comply with all RSA, RCG, and harm-minimisation requirements
**About You**
- **Current NSW RSA Competency Card (essential)**
- **Current NSW RCG Competency Card (essential)**
- Previous bar or gaming experience preferred but not essential — we'll train the right person
- Friendly, reliable, and well-presented
- Strong attention to detail, especially around cash handling and compliance
- Available for a variety of shifts including evenings, late nights, and weekends
