The Role
Working Mon - Thu (07030 - 1600) and Fri (0730 - 1330) in a team of experienced Machine Operators, within the timber and metal sector. TWO opportunities available.
Reporting to the respective Team Leader, you will join the production team to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards at our Carrum Downs warehouse.
Operating sheet metal machinery, press machines, CNC machines and more. You are encouraged to apply if you seek to develop your skills in a hands-on friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of mid to large manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Complete production tasks in line with daily schedules and targets
- Keep a sharp eye on quality and attention to detail
- Assist with general manufacturing and production activities
- Perform moderate manual handling of metal and timber products as required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
NB. This role involves moderate physical activity and manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is required.
