Summary:
As a Retail Store Manager at DJI in Chermside, Queensland, you will play a pivotal role in leading our retail team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales performance. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our store meets its financial and operational goals. This position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of service and product knowledge that DJI is known for, while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, train, and develop your team to meet individual and store KPIs
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and mentorship to build a high-performing team
- Identify and develop future Store Managers and leadership capability
- Manage underperformance early and consistently through structured processes
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
Sales & Customer Experience

Drive sales performance and hold accountability for store-level financial outcomes
- Lead from the floor, modelling best-practice customer engagement and solution selling
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction outcomes in line with NPS benchmarks
- Resolve escalated customer issues professionally, identifying root causes and preventive actions
- Manage review platforms: generate, monitor, and respond to customer feedback
Operations & Administration

Execute and oversee all daily operational checklists to organisational standards
- Manage stock, inventory accuracy, and visual merchandising across the store
- Control costs, scheduling, and labour budgets aligned to business expectations
- Complete regular sales and performance reporting with clear analysis
- Ensure all DJI facilitated services (CRF, RDA) are correctly adopted and followed
Product Knowledge & Events

Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of DJI products, services, and updates
- Prepare the team and store for product launches, activations, and promotional events
Qualifications:

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role, preferably in the technology or electronics sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
