Help shape the future of our workplace, one organised day at a time
About the Opportunity
This is your chance to work at the heart of our People & Culture function, providing high-calibre executive support to our Executive General Manager of People & Culture. You'll play a vital role in enabling and supporting the delivery of our People Plans and strategic priorities, ensuring seamless operations and creating the space for our EGM to focus on what matters most - our people.
In this role, you'll be trusted with complex, confidential and sensitive information, requiring exceptional discretion and judgment. You'll help drive an efficient operating rhythm, support key initiatives that shape our workplace culture, and be a professional, proactive presence across the organisation. If you thrive on being three steps ahead, love bringing order to complexity, and want to make a real impact behind the scenes, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the success of our people strategy.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Accountabilities)
You'll provide comprehensive support to the EGM, managing their diary, key stakeholder relationships, meetings, and correspondence with professionalism and foresight. You'll prepare presentations, reports and briefing materials, handle incoming requests with sound judgment, and ensure the EGM is fully prepared and informed on all key issues relevant to their accountability. Maintaining integrity and confidentiality is paramount in this role with high attention to detail.
You'll coordinate meeting agendas, pre-reads and follow-ups, track commitments and actions, and keep stakeholders informed of changes or updates. You'll also review approvals, manage expense claims and credit card reconciliations, and maintain accurate records and archives to support audit and compliance requirements.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll support employee engagement activities, help foster a positive team culture, and plan and deliver events as needed. You'll coordinate leave, absence and expense processes for the People & Culture team, and ensure all information remains current, accurate and consistent for internal and external use. In everything you do, you'll present a professional, approachable image and be a trusted partner to the EGM and the broader leadership team.
