About the role:
Murrumbidgee Local Health District is looking for passionate Podiatrist to join our High-Risk Foot Clinic team.
As a Senior Podiatrist you will have recognised high level clinical skills enabling you to work across a range of clinical areas with the ability to perform novel, complex and critical clinical services to patients, families and carers with a high level of professional knowledge.
As the Senior Podiatrist, you will be responsible for:
Provision of a comprehensive podiatry service for the High Risk Foot Service and Wagga Wagga Aged Care Service
Maintaining appropriate and accurate Podiatry activity statistics.
Maintaining personal and professional development by participating in evidence-based practice activities, training/education, clinical supervision and performance reviews in order to continuously improve the level and quality of service.
Day to day management of the Podiatry team and/or local service and active contribution to the Podiatry Network.
Involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services and identification, development and leading of clinical practice and quality improvement activities with other staff.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A Tertiary Qualification in Podiatry with current registration with AHPRA to practice as a Podiatrist
Expert clinical knowledge and post-graduate experience in the management of high risk foot pathology (including ulceration, infection, neuro-arthropathy, and post-amputation management).
Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement and skills in providing training and education
Well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills
