Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse within Ward 2H, you will play an important role in delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based care to surgical patients while working closely with Registered Nurses and the broader multidisciplinary team by:
Providing person-centred nursing care to surgical and medical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Supporting the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
Delivering care to patients across a diverse surgical caseload including ENT, colorectal, acute and general surgery.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and utilising the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Promoting quality, safety and infection control standards in daily practice.
Contributing to a positive team culture through collaboration, communication and professional conduct.
Participating in ongoing learning, quality improvement and professional development activities.
About you:
You are a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively within a busy surgical environment with:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
Medication endorsement and the ability to work across a rotating roster.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience in providing patient-centred nursing care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and evidence-based practice.
The ability to adapt to changing clinical priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
A dedication to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
