About the role
Provide high-quality dental assisting services within the Oral Health Centre (STARS), delivering clinical support across a range of dental procedures for adult and paediatric patients. Lead and coordinate dental assistant teams to ensure efficient clinic operations, high standards of care, and effective service delivery.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver advanced dental assisting across a broad range of clinical procedures, including preparation and post-operative care
Provide leadership, supervision, and support to dental assistants to ensure efficient clinic operations
Maintain infection control standards, including sterilisation and safe handling of clinical equipment
Support training, education, and professional development of staff and students
Contribute to stock management, clinic coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives
