About the role
We are looking for a
part-time Assistant Coordinator to support our current Coordinator within our well established OSHC program. Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of Good Counsel Primary School in
Forestville and is open from 7:00am to 9:00am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time. During school holidays and Pupil free days the service runs a Vacation Care program from 7:30am- 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Rate: Children's Services Award Level 7 + Retention + Super + Allowances + Salary Packaging + Sign on bonus

Duties
- Supporting the coordinators with the efficient day to day operation of the service.
- Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children.
- Ensuring compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
- Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required.
- Willingness to engage in professional development.
Requirements
- Working with Children Check.
- Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain.
- Foundations of child safety training certificate or willingness to obtain.
Highly Desirable
- Qualifications- Diploma or Cert IV in OSHC.
- Experience as an Assistant Coordinator
- Experience in working in outside school hours care.
- Skills and experience in team leadership.
- Knowledge of regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National
- Quality Framework – My Time Our Place, as it applies to Outside School Hours Care.
