We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Chefs/Cooks of all grades to join our team.
Due South was a vision created by local businessman and was launched on the 27th of October 2014. Since then Due South and The Great Southern Wine Centre, have maintained the simple focus of showcasing the best of the Great Southern, through supporting local suppliers, building a strong selection of local wines and using fresh produce.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- during service
- with planning menus
- enforcing hygiene regulations
- Prepare, cook and portion meals
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation
- Prepare and make entree's.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen and storage areas.
- Running Services
- Delegation of duties to staff in your section.
- Work with the kitchen staff to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen as a team.
Experience: Chef/Cook minimum 2 years' experience
Education: Cert III or higher depending on role. Without formal qualification, at least 3 years fulltime experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
