Are you passionate about creating clear, practical, and engaging documentation that helps teams work more effectively?
We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team on a 12-month secondment . This is an exciting opportunity for an internal team member to broaden their experience, work across multiple business functions, and play a key role in improving operational excellence across InvoCare.
In this role, you'll partner with Process Owners, subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business to develop, standardise and maintain high-quality documentation that supports operational consistency, compliance and continuous improvement.
As our Technical Writer, you will:
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including policies, procedures, SOPs, forms and business standards.
- Translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation that supports business outcomes.
- Coordinate document reviews, approvals and version control processes.
- Identify documentation gaps, duplication and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders across operational and support functions to capture, validate and improve business processes.
- Support governance, quality assurance and document control requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance usability, adoption, and consistency across the organisation.

- Understanding of process mapping, workflow design and document control principles.
- Experience working within structured documentation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
- Experience using AI and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
- Exposure to regulated, compliance-driven or operational environments will be highly regarded.
