We are looking for a reliable and friendly Retail Team Member to join our service station team in Lansvale.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys customer service and is comfortable working across retail, food preparation and general store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Operating the POS/register and processing customer payments
- Replenishing stock, maintaining displays and keeping shelves well presented
- Preparing sandwiches and other fresh food
- Preparing and managing hot food
- Safely operating fryers, grills and other food equipment
- Monitoring food quality, holding times, temperatures and expiry dates
- Completing stocktakes and assisting with stock control
- Receiving and checking supplier deliveries
- Stock rotation and following FIFO
- Maintaining cleanliness of the shop, food preparation areas and equipment
- Following food safety, workplace safety and service station procedures
- Assisting with general day-to-day store operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Comfortable handling food and working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous service station, convenience store, supermarket, café or fast-food experience would be an advantage
- Experience using fryers/grills or preparing food is preferred, but training can be provided
- Flexible availability, including weekends and early/late shifts, would be highly regarded
