About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking dishwasher / kitchen hand to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. The successful candidate will support our chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitise dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, floors, and storage areas.
- Remove rubbish and recycling and ensure bins are kept clean.
- Restock cleaning supplies and kitchen items as needed.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwasher role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks.
