Three Thousand Thieves is a premium coffee subscription service delivering Australia’s best specialty coffee to thousands of members nationwide. We are looking for a reliable, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to run our daily fulfillment and ensure every member receives their coffee perfectly packaged and on time.
The Role
In this role, you will be the final touchpoint of our customer experience. You aren't just putting boxes together; you are ensuring accuracy, managing stock, and navigating our digital shipping systems to keep the engine of our business running smoothly.
This is a consistent, daytime roster (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM), making it perfect for someone wanting stable hours with their afternoons free.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately picking and packing daily coffee subscription and e-commerce orders according to strict quality standards.
- Shipping & Systems Management: Operating dispatch and logistics software (ShipStation) to generate labels, manage order queues, and troubleshoot shipping discrepancies.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, assisting with incoming deliveries, and ensuring packaging materials are organized and replenished.
- Quality Assurance: Maintaining a sharp attention to detail to ensure the correct roasts, grinds, and quantities match each customer's specific order profile.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping a clean, safe, and organized workspace to maximize operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
- Tech-Savvy: Prior experience or strong familiarity with digital fulfillment platforms—specifically ShipStation or similar e-commerce/dispatch software—is highly regarded.
- Obsessive Attention to Detail: You double-check orders naturally. Coffee types, bag sizes, and shipping methods matter, and you hate making mistakes.
- Reliable & Punctual: You are dependable, turn up on time every day, and take pride in managing your own daily workflow.
- Physically Fit: This is an active role that involves standing, moving, and packing for the duration of the shift, as well as handling boxes of coffee/supplies.
- Excellent Communication: You can flag inventory shortages or system issues clearly and work collaboratively with the broader team.
