About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join our growing team on a permanent full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
- Assist clients with domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition in accordance with individual dietary requirements.
- Provide companionship, social support and assistance with community participation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping and social activities where required.
- Monitor clients' wellbeing and promptly report any changes in health or care needs. Maintain accurate records, progress notes and documentation in accordance with organisational policies.
- Follow individual care plans and comply with all aged care standards, workplace health and safety requirements and infection control procedures.
- Work collaboratively with coordinators, nurses, allied health professionals and other members of the care team to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- At least one year of recent highly relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, respectful and person-centred care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle.
- Current Influenza vaccination and other vaccinations as required.

- Hourly rate: $36.22 – $39.53 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
