About the Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you'll support older Australians to continue living independently at home while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
You'll build genuine connections with your customers and become an important part of their support network.
Your Responsibilities:
- Personal care including showering, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Medication support (where applicable)
- Meal preparation and light household tasks
- Domestic assistance including cleaning and laundry
- Social support, companionship and community engagement
- Supporting customers to maintain independence and achieve their goals
About You
We're looking for caring, reliable and customer-focused individuals who enjoy supporting others.
To be successful, you'll have:
A passion for supporting older Australians, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A minimum of 12 months' experience providing personal care in aged care, disability or hospital settings and/or a qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Home & Community Care
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- Your own comprehensively insured car (shared vehicles and international licences are not accepted)
- Availability to support customers across Caboolture, Bribie Island and surrounding areas
- Commitment to completing our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics training program
