Our ideal candidate is a hands-on warehouse professional with a valid Forklift Licence and experience in goods receiving, dispatch, picking, packing, and inventory control. They possess strong attention to detail, ensuring stock accuracy, documentation compliance, and quality standards are consistently met. Physically fit and safety-conscious, they are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate demonstrates excellent communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive, reliable, and can-do attitude. They are organized, computer literate, capable of following procedures, and willing to support broader operational activities across the business as required.
Experience required:
- Demonstrated expertise in warehouse operations, stores, logistics, and inventory management
- Proven ability to receive, inspect, and dispatch stock, including processing associated documentation
- Skilled in conducting stock checks, stocktakes, and inventory reconciliation activities
- Proficient in picking, packing, labeling, and preparing goods for shipment
- Competent in operating forklifts within warehouse and manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of safe goods handling practices, including identifying damaged or non-conforming stock
- Experienced in coordinating with delivery drivers, freight carriers, and transport providers
- Committed to maintaining workplace safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards
