JUNIOR PARTS PERSON - BDS MECHANICAL
BDS Mechanical is seeking a full-time Junior Parts Person to join our Toowoomba team. This permanent role provides excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development within a well-established, reputable, and stable organisation.

Experience, skills and qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts (preferred but not always required).
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software
- Ability to lift and move parts and materials safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's licence
The Job:
- Receive and inspect incoming parts and supplies
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
- Organize and store parts in designated locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Perform regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits
- Identify low-stock items and notify supervisors for reordering
- Pick and issue parts to mechanics and technicians as required
- Label and catalogue parts correctly
- Assist customers or workshop staff with parts inquiries
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and safe
- Process returns, warranties, and damaged parts according to company procedures
