What you’ll be doing
- Developing relationships across commercial construction, aged care, education and facilities markets
- Identifying upcoming projects and opportunities early in the cycle
- Working closely with contractors, project managers, and decision-makers
- Growing existing accounts while actively creating new business opportunities
- Providing solution-based recommendations rather than simply selling products
- Managing project pipelines and maintaining strong customer engagement throughout the sales process
- Conducting face-to-face meetings, site visits, and stakeholder presentations
Experience from industries such as:
- Construction materials
- Commercial fit-out
- Building products
- Facilities management
- Industrial products
- Waste Management
will all be highly regarded.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who:
- Builds credibility quickly
- Understands consultative selling
- Is commercially minded
- Enjoys being in front of customers
- Can balance relationship management with proactive business development
- Understands how to navigate longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
