About the Role
The successful applicant will initially work alongside our Team Leader to learn FC Builders Cleans’ standards, systems and processes.
This is a hands-on cleaning position suited to someone who is highly productive, takes pride in their work and is also capable of stepping up to support site coordination when required.
Hours will vary depending on project demand, with the potential for increased and more consistent work based on your reliability, performance and capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing high-quality builders cleans and detailed cleaning work
- Completing initial, final and handover cleans
- Detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, floors and surfaces
- Cleaning windows, frames and tracks
- Following instructions and completing allocated areas efficiently
- Working safely with different surfaces, products, equipment and supplies
- Identifying and reporting damage, defects or additional work required
- Taking clear progress and completion photographs
- Monitoring job progress, productivity and cleaning quality
- Understanding job scopes and allocated labour hours
- Advising management early if a job may exceed its allocated hours
- Communicating professionally with builders and site supervisors
- Assisting with equipment, stock and company vehicle organisation
- Supporting the general day-to-day operation of the business
- Leading by example and helping maintain a positive, productive team environment
Essential Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and access to your own reliable vehicle
- Confidence driving a company vehicle when required
- Current NSW White Card
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Builders cleaning experience is highly regarded
- Team-leading or site coordination experience is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, proactive and organised
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload confidently
- Comfortable using mobile applications and job-management systems
- Physically fit and comfortable completing hands-on cleaning work
- Own appropriate PPE and enclosed, non-slip work boots
- Reliable availability and the ability to travel between job sites across Sydney
