About the Role
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Superintendent Rehabilitation Planning to lead the development of integrated rehabilitation strategies that support progressive rehabilitation, regulatory commitments, and long-term closure outcomes across our mining operations.
In this role, you will provide strategic leadership across the medium-term planning horizon, translating rehabilitation objectives into practical, integrated and execution-ready programs of work. Your expertise and influence will impact how rehabilitation is planned and delivered, ensuring land restoration activities are embedded into operational decision-making while leaving a positive legacy for future generations.
Your key areas of focus will be:
Leading the development of integrated medium-term rehabilitation plans that align progressive rehabilitation activities with mining schedules, closure objectives and long-term land stewardship outcomes.
Developing rehabilitation strategies, scenarios and priorities that optimise land restoration opportunities, manage risk and support business planning and operational decision-making.
Creating and maintain integrated rehabilitation schedules, ensuring activities are execution-ready, appropriately resourced and aligned with operational requirements and delivery milestones.
Overseeing landform development, soil management and material movement planning to support sustainable rehabilitation outcomes while effectively managing operational constraints and dependencies.
Collaborating with mine planning, operations, environmental, closure and technical teams to deliver practical, achievable rehabilitation programs and ensure alignment across business priorities.
Providing governance and leadership across rehabilitation planning, including forecasting, budgeting, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement to support regulatory commitments and long-term closure success.

What you can bring to the role
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Rehabilitation, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in mine planning, rehabilitation planning, closure planning, environmental management, and the development of integrated rehabilitation schedules and work programs within mining operations.
Strong understanding of progressive rehabilitation, soil and material management, landform development, and the integration of rehabilitation activities into mine plans, business planning processes, and resource forecasts.
Sound knowledge of rehabilitation and closure regulations, environmental obligations, risk management, governance, budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement practices.
Proven ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and communicate complex planning concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A flexible and adaptable work approach, with the ability to work across multiple operational environments and undertake regular travel to site locations including the Mining Hub, Huntly, and Willowdale, to support planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution activities.
