The role:
We are seeking an experienced Transaction Manager – State Lead to deliver end-to-end real estate transaction management services for our Government Account portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical property transactions across a diverse portfolio while working with high-profile government clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage comprehensive end-to-end delivery of critical lease events, including negotiating new leases, renewals, licenses, and other use agreements across an allocated government property portfolio
Conduct market rent reviews in accordance with lease agreements and lead make-good negotiations with multiple stakeholders including clients, landlords, and valuers
Execute end-to-end market searches, deliver professional market presentations with strategic recommendations, and manage administrative leasing requirements through to execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, Strategic Property Advisors, landlords, and internal JLL teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Ensure strict compliance with client approval procedures, maintain confidentiality and audit trails, and manage all Conflicts of Interest in accordance with client-endorsed processes
Accurately maintain and update client Occupancy Agreements for all leased properties and provide comprehensive record-keeping for all transactional matters
Provide property market insights and expert analysis for client reports, presentations, and dashboards while staying current with real estate market trends
Proactively identify opportunities to maximize portfolio performance and drive operational efficiencies in government property usage
What You’ll Bring:
An Australian Citizen in order to comply with our Client’s requirement to obtain and gain AGSVA security clearance
Minimum 4 years' experience in property transactions and associated services with a proven track record of successful deal execution
Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration with preferred tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate or equivalent (or working towards)
Exceptional ability to manage multiple complex issues concurrently within tight operational deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Goal-oriented approach with strong focus on meeting performance targets and delivering operational excellence
Outstanding client service and communication skills with proven ability to engage effectively with senior government stakeholders
Expert negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities across diverse internal and external groups
Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments and integrate services across multiple JLL business lines
