Located in Eastern Creek NSW SC&F is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 75,000sqm multi-story facility will transform our chilled and fresh operations in Sydney, ensuring we deliver exceptional freshness, quality and range to our customers

What you’ll do

Be accountable for load allocation and On-Time-Delivery (OTD) performance across the fleet — monitoring daily operations and getting ahead of bottlenecks before they impact service

Build and manage the relationship with external transport partners (Toll, RFT, Bonaccord), working collaboratively on capacity, schedules, and issue resolution

Work closely with DC and 3PL teams to keep operations flowing smoothly, raising any obstructions or non-compliance as they arise

Champion a strong safety culture — overseeing Chain of Responsibility compliance across internal drivers and external carriers, and supporting incident investigations and risk assessments when needed

Be the go-to person when things go wrong — resolving non-conformance issues and complaints, and keeping leadership informed in real time

Support the timely and efficient execution of ad hoc and special event store deliveries, while applying cost-saving initiatives across allocations and dispatch
What you’ll bring

Experience in supply chain or transport operations in a similar fast-paced environment

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust across internal teams and external partners

Initiative to build and maintain positive working relationships — this is key to success in the role

Proven collaborative leadership experience, comfortable guiding and influencing a team to deliver results together

Familiarity with the Sydney metro area and road network (or willingness to build this knowledge quickly)

Comfortable using everyday tools like Google, Excel, and Word

Flexibility to work a rotating 4-on/3-off roster, including weekends
