What you’ll do:
Working with the People and Culture team, this role is an integral part of our People & Culture team, responsible for providing high level coordination and administrative support across the employee lifecycle at Stride. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Act as the first point of contact for P&C related queries from Stride staff or external stakeholders, with responsibility for responding directly or internally directing enquiries as necessary to the relevant P&C team member

Work collaboratively across the organisation, providing HR support and coordination to ensure effective implementation and action of HR systems and processes, and compliance with internal and legislative requirements

Manage online workflows and undertake data maintenance, retrieval and report generation, including ad hoc reports for HR systems, including databases and the HRIS

Assist and support with the completion of compliance and legislative reports such as WGEA and AON
-
Work collaboratively with the Recruitment and Learning & Development teams to ensure that employees are onboarded effectively and in a timely manner, through the compilation and issue of pre-employment documentation, (welcome packs) and delivery of cohesive orientation and induction

Work collaboratively with IT to ensure efficient setup of new employees and to support system enhancements, projects etc, and with Payroll/Finance to ensure efficient and timely processing of payroll documentation

Oversee onboarding processes including processing of compliance checks (criminal checks and working with children checks, vaccination information, VEVO (Immigration, First Aid) checks, plus ad hoc qualification verification checks)

Contribute to team and organisational projects as required, including audit and accreditation support

Support work experience and student placement compliance, onboarding, and placement management

Maintain accurate and up to date records to enable regular reporting on key HR indicators as per reporting schedule including monthly, quarterly and board reports
About You:
-
Cert IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience
-
A general understanding of Human Resources practices, with experience or qualifications in HR/a HR environment highly desirable
-
Sound communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management, and provide support and advice in relation to Human Resources administration processes

A high level of initiative, and the ability to develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and required outcomes
-
High level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and other databases/systems, with experience using a HR Information System preferred
-
Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
-
A passion for social change and mental health
