About the Opportunity
Are you a Registered nurse, with haemodialysis experience, looking for a rewarding opportunity, to join the dynamic and welcoming team at the Griffith renal unit.
As the Registered Nurse, you will:
- Assess patients and deliver safe, individualised nursing care
- Develop, implement, review and document care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical changes
- Involve and educate patients and carers in care decisions
- Coordinate discharge and transitions of care
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accountability and contribute to quality improvement
About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care setting and demonstrated experience or interest in renal nursing, desirable experience and skill in venipuncture and cannulation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate person-centred care plans, and deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
