⭐ Inclusion Support Educator | Gumdale
Permanent Part-time, 32 hours per week. (4 days)
We’re looking for a warm, patient, and dedicated Inclusion Support Educator to join our Gumdale team in a permanent part‑time role, supporting children within our Kindergarten room.
In this role, you’ll support children to feel safe, included, and confident while helping create a calm, nurturing space where they can build independence, develop social skills, and engage in meaningful, play‑based experiences.
Working closely with your room team, you’ll play an important role in supporting routines, guiding learning, and ensuring every child feels a strong sense of belonging.
Key Responsibilities
Support a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
Provide responsive support to children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
Facilitate engaging, play‑based learning experiences
Assist with observing and documenting children’s strengths and progress
Work collaboratively with educators to adapt routines and experiences
Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance
About You
You are a caring, calm, and reliable educator who values inclusion and enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and families in a close‑knit setting.
Key skills and requirements:
ACECQA‑recognised Certificate III, Diploma, or higher
Must have completed National Child Safety Training
Experience in sector + 4 day availability
Experience supporting children with additional needs (highly regarded)
Compassionate, patient, and confident supporting children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis
