At Wesfarmers Health we strive to make health, beauty and wellness experiences simpler, more affordable and easier to access for all Australians.
Our portfolio includes well-known names like Priceline, as well as our MediAesthetics brands - Clear Skincare Clinics and SILK Laser Clinics. In the digital space, we’re proud to have SISU Health and InstantScripts—and most recently, we’ve launched our newest retail beauty stores, atomica.
About us:
What began in 1910 as a small co-operative of just three pharmacies has grown into Wesfarmers Health—a leading Australian organisation in health, beauty, and wellness.
Today, Wesfarmers Health proudly employs over 3,600 team members, all committed to delivering accessible, innovative, and trusted health and beauty services to Australians nationwide, across retail, medi-aesthetics, digital health, and wholesale and supply chain operations.
What you’ll do:
We're seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Store Operations team on a 6-Month Fixed-Term contract. Reporting to the Store Support & Execution Manager, you'll play a key role in making the way our stores work simpler, smarter and more effective.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys challenging the status quo, solving operational problems and designing better ways of working. Working closely with store teams, regional leaders and support office stakeholders, you will identify process improvement opportunities, lead end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives and ensure operational processes are clear, practical and easy for stores to follow.
You'll also take ownership of our store-facing SOP and process repository, ensuring documentation remains current, accessible and aligned with operational reality. Partnering closely with the Digital Engagement Specialist, you'll help design and maintain operational content within WorkJam while exploring how AI and emerging technologies can improve store operations and team effectiveness.
Success in this role will come from your ability to balance analytical thinking with practical execution, turning complex operational challenges into simple solutions that make life easier for our store teams.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a retail operations, store support, or process improvement role, ideally within a multi-site retail environment
- A genuine, demonstrated interest in continuous improvement — not just as a methodology, but as a way of thinking about work
- Strong process analysis skills, with the ability to observe, map, and diagnose operational issues and design practical, scalable solutions
- Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, plain-language SOPs and operational documentation for a frontline store audience
- Experience working with digital task management or workforce enablement platforms (WorkJam experience highly desirable)
- Comfort with AI tools and a genuine curiosity about how they can be applied to real operational problems — prior experience using AI in a work context is advantageous
- Experience with document management systems, content repositories, or knowledge management platforms
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, Miro) is advantageous
- Retail store experience and a strong understanding of how frontline store operations work is highly regarded
- Tertiary qualification in business, operations, communications, information management, or a related field is desirable
Qualifications or certifications in continuous improvement, lean, human-centred design, change management, or a related discipline are advantageous
