What You’ll do
Are you passionate about data-driven impact and meaningful community outcomes? The Santos Foundation is seeking an experienced and collaborative Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager to support the delivery of high-quality programs across multiple regions.
Working closely with the Senior M&E Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening performance monitoring, reporting, evaluation, learning, and continuous improvement across the Foundation’s initiatives.
In this diverse and strategic role, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the Performance/M&E team while providing technical and operational support to Santos Foundation programs and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation, review and development of the Santos Foundation Strategy
- Assisting with Board papers, presentations, business reports and reporting obligations
- Coordinating annual planning, budgeting and KPI processes across jurisdictions
- Managing grant and contract reporting requirements
- Designing and supporting evaluation studies and impact assessments
- Support the design and implementation of project/ program M&E results frameworks
- Strengthening M&E systems, tools, templates and dashboards for routine data collection, analysis and reporting
- Supporting learning, continuous improvement and internal program reviews
- Providing guidance to the M&E Coordinator on data systems and reporting
- Supporting grant proposal development and donor reporting support integration of Gender, Disability, Social Inclusion (GEDSI), and safeguarding into all monitoring, evaluation and learning activities
- Ensuring compliance with Santos Management Systems, governance and safety requirements
What You’ll bring
You are a collaborative professional with strong analytical capability and a passion for using evidence to improve program outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams
- Strong understanding of Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation and Learning (MERL) frameworks and methodologies
- Experience in data management, analysis and report writing
- Demonstrated experience preparing donor and Board reports
- Grant proposal development and writing experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with Government, private sector, NGOs and communities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, NVivo, SurveyMonkey or GIS platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, International Development, Information Technology or related discipline
- Technical competency in M&E and AI applications
