- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts, inline with the store operating hours:
o Saturday to Wednesday – 6:00am to 7:00pm
o Thursday & Friday – 6:00am to 10:00pm
- You have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

Team vision (text) As an IKEA Food Co-worker, you will play an important role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our customers by ensuring our food areas are clean, safe, efficient, and inviting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Commercial and customer experience
- Preparing and serving food in line with IKEA Food standards and food safety requirements
- Providing friendly, efficient customer service and active selling
- Handling cash transactions and operating point-of-sale systems
- Maintaining presentation standards to ensure food areas are attractive and welcoming
- Supporting stocktake activities and controlling waste through correct production levels
Operational excellence
- Cooking, serving, and food preparation using approved methods and equipment, including ovens and fryers
- Following strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures, including temperature and date checks
- Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops, and maintaining cleanliness in customer dining areas
- Processing dishes and maintaining the washing-up area and equipment
- Ensuring all food areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with IKEA standards at all times
