Bar Manager – Premium Waterfront Restaurant & Bar
VANTA QUAY is preparing to open one of Mandurah's newest premium waterfront dining destinations, and we're looking for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead our front-of-house bar operations.
Located on the beautiful Mandurah Foreshore, VANTA QUAY combines premium dining, handcrafted cocktails, quality wines, local and international beers, and exceptional customer service in a sophisticated black-and-gold venue.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar
- Lead, train and motivate bartenders and bar staff
- Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests
- Develop and maintain high standards of customer service
- Prepare staff rosters and manage labour costs
- Monitor stock levels, ordering and inventory control
- Work closely with suppliers to maintain beverage quality
- Ensure compliance with RSA requirements and liquor licensing laws
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the bar
- Assist in developing cocktail menus, wine lists and seasonal beverage specials
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to ensure smooth service
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and beers
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Experience managing stock, ordering and beverage costing
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to perform under pressure
