The opportunity to join our team
The Client Associate (CA) is a critical hybrid role within the Shadforth client service delivery model, combining client relationship management with technical and advice process support.
The CA is responsible for delivering a seamless, high-quality client experience while supporting Private Wealth Advisers (PWAs) and Shadforth Advice Teams (SATs) across the full advice lifecycle from client engagement and preparation through to implementation and ongoing service.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end client service and engagement, including ongoing relationship management
Coordination and preparation of client meetings and advice documentation
Supporting advice processes, including data gathering, research, and implementation
Managing workflows, tasks, and advice tracking to ensure timely delivery
Maintaining accuracy and completeness of client files and records
Acting as a key liaison between clients, advisers, and central support teams
What you will bring:
Working towards or completion of relevant financial planning qualifications (desirable)
2–4 years’ experience in financial planning, client service, or advice support, ideally working within a professional services / high calibre advice firm
Strong understanding of financial planning processes and client service delivery
Experience with Xplan or similar CRM systems
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Ability to develop technical knowledge across financial strategies and products
Strong organisational and workflow management capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Strong clients focus with the ability to build trust and rapport
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Collaborative team player with initiative
