The Role
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians to join our growing and successful teams across Australia on a 3/1 roster. Due to continued business growth and our commitment to delivering exceptional results for our clients, we have multiple opportunities available as we expand our workforce and strengthen our pipeline of upcoming projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical installation, assembly and disassembly of turbine components.
- Carry out routine maintenance activities and inspections on mechanical systems and components.
- Safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools and specialised equipment.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors and site personnel to meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Prioritise safety as a core value, consistently demonstrating a commitment to safety.
- Comply with the company, HSEQ and HR policies and procedures.
- Promote the company’s core values in everyday activities.
Required Qualifications
- GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification
- Construction White Card
- ART- Advanced Rescue Training
- Current valid Driver’s Licence
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience (desirable)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of small teams
- Good communication and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and safety compliance
- Dogging/Rigging - desirable
