What you'll be doing
The Exercise Physiologist will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, consumers, carers and families to provide specialised assessment, exercise prescription, health education and delivery of individual and group exercise services and lifestyle and behaviour modification programs, with the aim of improving physical and mental health, functional capacity and quality of life.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Bachelor or post graduate degree in an exercise science related field with eligibility for accreditation as an exercise physiologist with ESSA.

Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.

Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of an evidence based Exercise Physiology service to consumers, carers and families requiring the physical activity management and rehabilitation of people with a wide variety of chronic and complex conditions.

Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
