About the Opportunity
Deniliquin Hospital is recruiting Registered Midwives to deliver safe, high-quality, women-centred care across our maternity services, with flexible full-time, part-time and casual opportunities available.
In this role, you will provide evidence-based midwifery and nursing care across the maternity continuum, working in partnership with women, families and the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care that achieves optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes, supported by a collaborative and experienced team.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA

A commitment to women-centred, evidence-based midwifery practice that promotes trust, respect and informed decision-making

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build therapeutic relationships with women, families, carers and colleagues

Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate safe, responsive care across maternity and clinical settings

Capacity to recognise and respond to changes in a woman’s or newborn’s condition, escalating care appropriately

Commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement and reflective practice

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment

Ability to work as solo operator, back -up will always be available as needed
