About the role:
This identified leadership role provides strategic Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community leadership for ENVISAGE First Peoples , with primary accountability for community engagement, community-led program planning, cultural governance, community capacity building and culturally led implementation and evaluation of ENVISAGE across all states and territories of Australia. The successful candidate will:
- Work in partnership with the ENVISAGE Leadership Team and ENVISAGE National Team program functions.
- Lead the development, evaluation, strengthening and sustainment of authentic, culturally safe relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, community-controlled organisations, industry partners and facilitators.
- Ensure the successful delivery of the ENVISAGE program within the Australian Government funded National Early Childhood Program.
- Exercises high level cultural authority and professional judgement to ensure ENVISAGE implementation is community led, place based and grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, being and doing.
- Leads and supports a geographically dispersed national network of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander facilitators, partners and stakeholders, providing senior leadership in community capacity building, workforce support and relational governance.
ENVISAGE is a peer support program empowering families and caregivers of children living with a developmental concern or disability. These children may experience a diverse range of conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, rare genetic conditions or acquired brain injury.

- Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,409 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
