About the Role
We are seeking a full time Mechanical Engineering Technician to support our workshop and site operations. The successful candidate will assist with mechanical equipment maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, reliability activities, and technical support across industrial and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify mechanical issues affecting reliability and productivity.
- Assist with installation, alignment, commissioning, and repair of industrial equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Support shutdown maintenance and industrial project activities.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, welders, boilermakers, pipefitters, electricians, and maintenance personnel.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery, pneumatic systems, conveyors, motors, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Salary offered is $75k to $85k
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
