Job Title: Small goods maker and Butcher

Our business provides quality fresh meat cuts, raw seafood products, and marinated meat items. We focus on delivering fresh ingredients for customers’ home cooking needs, with a strong emphasis on quality, freshness, and service.
The role:
We are looking for a reliable Smallgoods Maker and Butcher to join our team on a full-time basis.
Your main duties will include:
Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat for display and sale
Making sausages and preparing marinated meat products
Basic preparation and handling of seafood products
Slicing and portioning meat to standard sizes
Packing, labelling, and storing products correctly
Keeping work areas clean and following food safety standards
Assisting with stock rotation and basic inventory
Serving customers and providing general product advice when needed
About you:
AQF Certificate IV level (or equivalent), and at least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience
Experience in butchery or smallgoods preparation
Good knife skills and attention to detail
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and able to work as part of a team
We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position.
