At Care2Inspire, we are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Cleaners / Domestic Assistants to support our disability participants in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
This role involves providing domestic assistance tailored to individual participant needs while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Surface cleaning and wipe downs
- Changing bed linen
- General tidying and organisation
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Taking out rubbish and maintaining cleanliness of household areas
- Assisting participants to maintain a hygienic and safe living environment
- Following participant preferences and care requirements
- Reporting any health, safety, or maintenance concerns to management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous cleaning or domestic assistance experience (preferred but not essential)
- A caring, respectful, and professional approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within participant homes respectfully
- Understanding of privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
Requirements
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
- COVID-19 vaccination status in line with current requirements
