We have an exciting opportunity for hardworking and outgoing Forklift Drivers and Yard Staff to join our team in Keysborough. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will be responsible for the picking and packing of timber orders, safe forklift operations and liaising with customers. This role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities -
- Provide excellent customer service3 to both internal and external customers.
- Picking and packing of timber orders across a diverse range of products
- The safe operation of a forklift vehicle including the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Maintain general housekeeping practices across our warehouses and work areas.
To be successful our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate must also:
- Be available to work Monday - Friday 6.30 am - 2.30 pm as well as a one week a month shift of 9am - 5pm
- Have experience operating drop saws.
- Have a knowledge of timber products (highly desirable but not necessary as full training provided.
- Have previous experience working in a wholesale timber environment
- Be reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must hold a valid Forklift licence
- Experince unloading shipping conatainers and advantage
- Be safety conscience and adhere to all company OHS policies
