The Role
We are seeking motivated and dependable drivers who are passionate about delivering exceptional quality service. Whether you're an experienced driver or just starting your journey, Dial A Tow provides the support, training, and resources you need to excel.
As a Tow Truck Driver, you'll represent South Australia's premier towing service, delivering 24/7 assistance from depots across Adelaide and our regional centers. Whether you live north, south, east or west or anywhere surrounding hills and suburbs, you could work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain MR-class or higher vehicles following legal and company standards.
- Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles to meet company schedules.
- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inspections.
- Interact professionally with clients to provide premium customer service.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Essential Requirements
- MR License (minimum)
- Minimum of 1 year MR licence driving experience required.
- Mechanical aptitude and good fitness and coordination.
- Current (or willing to obtain) National Police Clearance and SAPOL contractor clearance.
- Valid Accident Towing Permit which can be obtained after hiring if not currently held.
- Strong communication skills with excellent English and understanding.
- Available to work rosters, weekends, and overtime.
- Physically fit and reliable.
- Must hold any valid Australian work visa or have legal right to work in Australia.
- Must be able to drive any manual car and truck to fulfil the requirements of the role.

- Automotive background, or sound understanding of vehicle components and operation.
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
- Experience in traffic management and or heavy vehicle operations.
- Knowledge of load restraint guidelines.
