About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department at our brand-new Griffith Base Hospital. This frontline role is integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families, in a high paced environment.
You will be joining our high performing multidisciplinary team who are welcoming, passionate and dedicated to providing essential health care services to our regional community.
As the Registered Nurse, you will:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred care
- Recognise and respond to clinical changes
- Engage patients/carers and support safe discharge/transfer
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Completion of a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent
- Desirable, 12 months experience in a Emergency department.
- Knowledge and skills to develop and document a plan of care that reflects the identified needs of the patient, with co ordinating safe effective and efficient discharge planning or transfer.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to person-centred care, cultural safety, and ongoing professional development.
