About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our management team at La Piazza.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving service excellence, leading from the floor, and supporting the overall performance of the venue.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service every shift
- Run the floor in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring service, presentation and compliance standards are met
- Manage the guest experience from bookings through to service delivery
- Support rostering, labour management and operational efficiency
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar teams
- Drive team performance and commercial outcomes
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, RSA/RCG compliance and WHS
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar Assistant Manager / Supervisor role
- Proven ability to lead teams in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Hands-on, floor-focused leadership style
- Strong food & beverage knowledge, including bar operations
- Experience training and developing team members
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak periods
- Current RSA & RCG (or willingness to obtain)
