Urgently Required – Experienced Chef
ANGELOS CRUSH GROUP PTY LTD, trading as Angelo's Crush, is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
At Angelo's Crush, we are known for our authentic Italian cuisine, including delicious pizzas, fresh pasta, salads, dine-in and takeaway meals, as well as our popular breakfast menu. We pride ourselves on providing a beautiful ambience and an enjoyable dining experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality Italian dishes, including pizzas, pasta, salads and breakfast items.
- Develop and maintain menu quality and consistency.
- Monitor food preparation and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Supervise and assist kitchen staff during service.
- Order, receive and manage food supplies and stock.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Ensure all meals are prepared to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Management, or equivalent qualification.
- At least two (2) years of relevant full-time post-qualification experience as a Chef (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
- Experience preparing authentic Italian cuisine, including pizza and pasta.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
Employment Details
- Position: Full-Time Permanent
- Salary: AUD $80,000 per annum + Superannuation
