About the Role
We are seeking motivated and hands-on Production Supervisors to lead daily operations across our packing and processing facility.
These roles are responsible for overseeing staff, equipment, and production processes to ensure output targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will also act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and operational issues on shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across packing and processing lines
- Lead and manage production staff to ensure productivity and performance targets are met
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment
- Monitor production output and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Troubleshoot operational issues and minimise downtime
- Coordinate cleaning and preventative maintenance schedules
- Work closely with maintenance teams to resolve equipment faults
- Oversee product quality control and ensure specifications are met
- Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records
- Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standards
- Train, support, and develop production team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Relevant Qualification plus at least 1 year of relevant experience OR at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience working with production machinery and troubleshooting issues
- Solid understanding of quality control and safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
